Is sushi good for you?
One of our commitments is to bring our low-calorie, healthy sushi to schools around the country in an effort to fight childhood obesity. Many of the sushi rolls produced by Banzai Sushi are low in saturated fat and provide a healthy alternative to fast food restaurants and cafeteria lunches. There are countless health benefits to sushi, so when you ask yourself, “is sushi good for you?” the answer is yes, it is. Finally, a meal that combines “tastes good” and “good for you”.
All of our sushi rolls are made with seafood, which is naturally low in fat, or is vegetarian. Besides being a low-calorie meal, there are plenty of other health benefits you can get from sushi.
Because of its health benefits, sushi is quickly becoming a mainstream food option demanded by a broad audience. The demographic of sushi consumers gets younger each year and many high schools already feature sushi in their cafeterias as a healthy choice for students.
Colleges and Universities have followed suit. The Asian inspired food segment is the fastest growing in University and College cafeterias across the country.
